Thursday has snuck up on us. Thank Thursday for the joy of cookie dough. No cookie making session is complete without sneaking a taste of cookie dough. And loving it. So today we are exploring a variety of different recipes that allow you to indulge in your cookie dough addiction.

Recently I read about aging cookie dough. It might be a difficult task but I can assure you it is worth the wait. Whip up a batch late at night, leave for a day or two and then bake away. The difference is amazing. And yummy. So very yummy.
Let us not forget the wisdom that is the Cookie Monster.
A little trivia on the Cookie Monster-
Originally, Cookie Monster was green, he had sharp teeth and well… he didn’t eat cookies! You can see one of the original adverts here
In 2006 he appeared on the Martha Stewart show to reassure his fans that he wasn’t not cooling cold turkey on cookies but taking a more responsible approach to his eating habits, claiming that cookies are a sometimes food.
Cookie Monster has a family. His parents, sister and a cousin have all appeared on Seaseme St alongside Cookie Monster.
Cookie Monster believes that his name used to be Sid. This was before he discovered cookies.
