Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all and a warm welcome to Milly meets Toby
Here are some quirky Halloween facts:

One quarter of all the candy sold annually in the U.S. is purchased for Halloween.

Halloween is one of the oldest celebrations in the world dating back to Celtic times.

The colours orange and black became Halloween colours because orange is associated with harvests (Halloween marks the end of harvest) and black is associated with death.

A pumpkin is really a squash, and comes from the same family as the cucumber.

If your pumpkin lantern shrivels up, you can restore it by soaking it overnight in water to re hydrate it.
With a long weekend upon us Melbourne folk the Milly meets Toby kitchen will be in full swing tackling some retro recipes. Whipping up a batch of Mars Bar Slice, a bundle of Porcupine Meatballs and Apple Bacon dog biscuits.
Have a spooktacular day!
